Presentation of Distinguished Merit Award to the Commissioner for lands for outstanding performance and reforms in the Ministry of lands and Certificate of Merit to 33 Officers for various officers drawn from various ministries for their exemplary services and dedication was observed.

The Head of Service urged the awardees not to relent on their oars.

She also commended the Governor for his friendly disposition and yearnings to civil servants, appointment of 5000 teachers, massive road construction and host of others.

Sir Julius Chukwuemeka, Commissioner for Information, Sir Paul Nwosu, Commissioner for Special Duties, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, Commissioner for Culture and Entertainment, Mr Donatus Onyeji, National President ASATU, Barr. Titus Akpudo, MD ASWAMA, Mr Mike Ozoemena, Members of Boards and Parastatals, Permanent Secretaries, Directors, amongst others.
